Community Wind Projects

2015 starts with big news at Scotian Wind as we add to our fleet of Community Feed In Tariff (COMFIT) turbines. Five new projects with a total of 11 new turbines totalling just under 22 MW. North Beaver Bank, Martock Ridge, Nine Mile River, Black Pond and Isle Madame will be host to COMFIT projects bringing more renewable energy to Nova Scotia to help us reach our environmental goals and reduce emissions across the province. Martock was commissioned and producing energy as of January 15, 2015. Here is video footage of the newly turning Martock Ridge Project.
